Departure from Tampere and off to new horizons

The time has finally come for me to leave Tampere. Last week has been filled with goodbyes as more and more of my friends left and now I’m going as well. I am taking with me great memories of an awesome time up north in Finland. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this semester special! I hope I well see many of you again as soon as possible! In Finland, Germany, Europe or anywhere else in the world 😉

While many of my friends are already home I will spend the next 4 weeks traveling. I will „try“ to go home without flying. No, I haven’t become afraid of flying :-p I just think that it is a good opportunity to get to know another part of Europe that I haven’t been to before.

My current itinerary is Helsinki (until 3rd of June), Tallinn (until 7th), Tartu (until 9th), Riga (until 13th), Klaipeda (15th), Vilnius (until 18th), Warsaw (until 20th), Magdeburg (until 22nd) and Karlsruhe. In Magdeburg I will visit one of my new friends and in Karlsruhe I will work as a volunteer at one of my students organisation’s job fairs and meet some of my old friends again. In total that’s 9 different places in 6 countries, although only 2 different currencies 😀 After that I will finally come home to Cologne to my family.

I will try to keep this blog updated as a travel blog, let’s see if will keep to it 😀
