On Saturday, there was the international food party. The idea is that everyone prepares a typical dish for his/her country or region and then try the food of all the other countries. I decided to make „Fleischplätzchen“ (meat balls) following a recipe from my mother. As you can see from the picture, there weren’t many left at the end!
In the end, there was a voting for the best food and the best presentation. Our German group made 3rd place for best food! And congratulations to Czechia for winning!
- German table
- My meat balls
- Only two people from the Netherlands were there.
- Czech table – this evening’s winners!
- Nicely crafted sign from Bulgaria
- Austrian „Kaiserschmarrn“ also seemed quite popular.
- French table
- Award ceremony
Today there will be The Grand Opening of the Student Union’s Jubilee, as well as Juomalaulukisat (drinking song competition) in Teekkarisauna. Teekkarisauna is the students‘ sauna which is owned by the student union. It is a party room with a sauna which is often used for student parties.
